Design & Detailing

The Victorian Decorative plaster ceiling rose 650mm is a large ornamental ceiling feature defined by an elaborate floral composition framed by structured perimeter enrichment. The design combines leaf ornament around the outer band with layered floral detailing that radiates toward the centre of the rose. Within the composition a shell shaped centre and surrounding bead detailing introduce additional texture, creating a sculptural decorative centrepiece across the ceiling.

As a large ceiling rose, the design blends botanical ornament with architectural structure. The surrounding perimeter detailing helps contain the flowing floral forms within a balanced circular framework, allowing the decorative elements to remain visually organised across the moulding.

Victorian Influence

This period ceiling rose reflects decorative traditions associated with Victorian interior plasterwork, where elaborate botanical ornament and classical decorative motifs were frequently combined. Craftsmanship & Material

Each Victorian Decorative plaster ceiling rose 650mm is produced in fibrous plaster at our workshop in Norfolk using traditional casting techniques followed by careful hand finishing. This process ensures the floral ornament, bead detailing and perimeter leaf patterns remain crisp and clearly defined across the moulding.

Fibrous plaster allows intricate botanical decoration to retain its clarity once installed and decorated while providing durability suited to architectural plasterwork.
